Using Golf Pro App to Teach Putting

There is no longer a need to invest in very expensive putting labs. The position of the camera on the iPad is ideal to see a player’s putting stroke in detail. You will no longer have to struggle with positioning your traditional cameras low enough to the ground and of course, you can go to a real green to teach putting!

Simply place the iPad on the on the ground along the target line for a down the line view or perpendicular to the target line for the face on view and click record. You will have a high definition video of your student’s stroke and you can help him understand how he is losing those strokes on the green. Having a few examples of yourself executing the proper stroke to use as comparisons will further enhance your student’s understanding. Of course, with the GolfPro App, you will be able to send your student the analysis of his stroke by e-mail or to your own website for viewing, however you decide.

Using the Golf Pro App for Short-game and Special Lies

One of the great advantages to working with the GolfPro App is of course its portability. How many times have you been with a student during a lesson on some part of the short-game and needed access to video so as to show him something about his technique? Of course, there are golf apps that can be used to video and analyze technique remotely for situations like this, but only the GolfPro App can allow you to send a video reminder of what you are teaching. With the GolfPro App, you can do your video analysis and lesson video right where you are without having to go back to your teaching studio (if you even have one) or without setting up your laptop and camera.

The ease of use of the Ipad will free you to teach many areas of the game that perhaps you have not been exploring with your students. With the GolfPro App you can help your students tackle uneven lies, playing out of the rough, all short-game situations and even recovery shots. You can teach from any position where a ball may find itself on the course!

Playing Lessons on the Course

Have you ever done playing lessons and wanted to explain to a student what he/she is doing wrong in certain situations on the course? With the GolfPro App, these playing lessons become real lessons that your students will remember. By taking your Ipad or Iphone with you to the course, you can clearly demonstrate to your students the mistakes that are costing them precious strokes.

The power of visual feedback on the course will help your students learn how to set up to the ball using the proper angles off the tee, when to use a chip and run as opposed to a lob shot, to keep the head still while tackling those important round-making or round-breaking putts or any other situation that is keeping your student from playing his best.

If there is a hole where your student can’t ever seem to get the ball in the fairway off the tee, you can video him on that hole and compare that swing to one of his good swings from a lesson. This will help him understand how he is not fully committing to the swing changes that you have been helping him make.

The examples above are just a few of the ways that the GolfPro App can help you teach your students the difference between the range and the course. Communication is the key to teaching. With the GolfPro App your playing lessons will take on a whole new dimension and add to your teaching revenue.

Video swing analysis

The GolfPro App is a fully functional swing analysis app for the ipad. With the GolfPro App you can record swings, play swings back in slow motion or frame by frame, use drawing tools to help you communicate specific points in the swing to your student, compare your student’s swing with that of a model swing and more.

Lesson videos on Ipad

One of the most effective teaching tools is the use of video for feedback. The use of video has become extremely popular in all motion-related activities. Students learn much faster when they can see what they are doing!

The GolfPro App goes one step beyond simple demonstration. With the GolfPro App, your student can now take his lesson home with him! Our proprietary technology allows you to record all drawings AND your voice as you explain. The recorded lesson is “packaged” as a movie file that can be sent to your student by e-mail or uploaded to a website dedicated to your videos.

Simply hit the “record” button on the GolfPro App screen before you start your analysis and everything that you do on the screen and everything that you say will be saved as a video. Before the GolfPro App, this functionality could only be found in “professional” software that could cost up to $1,000 and needed a pc.

The GolfPro App not only makes this very powerful teaching tool accessible to all but, perhaps most importantly, makes it portable. With the Ipad you can now make lesson videos anywhere on the course.
